Aisha Jamila Hinds is an American actor who is most well famous for her performances on TV series The Shield and True Blood. Since her 2003 debut, she has shown her versatility in acting by giving outstanding performances in television series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 as well as Under the Dome. Her first recognition came from her character Anna in the film Assault on Precinct 13. Her role in the biographical film All the Way as the feminist activists Fannie Lou Hammer attracted Hind to the notice of the world at large. Hind was also praised by critics for her portrayal as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's classic television drama Underground.
